About Me
Who am I?
Name:
Kevin Sebesky
Location: Bucks County, Pennsylvania
Vocation: Husband, father of three, Extraordinary Minister of the Blessed Eucharist, Hospital Minister, student, business owner.
On May 10th 2008 I graduated from the Archdiocese of Philadelphia's Church Ministry Institute for Lay Minister training. I'm also active in my parish community at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Doylestown, PA.
I am an avid reader of Thomas Merton. I enjoy long distance motorcycling and have traveled in every state, including Alaska (and most of the Canadian provinces) on two wheels.
I am also a hopelessly sentimental baseball fan and have found many creative ways to forgive the Philadelphia Phillies over the years.
Why am I doing this?
One of the challenges of the Lay Ministry is to find
innovative ways to
express my gifts and to give them back to the community. I've
always felt sorry for that poor fellow who buried his "talents" while the other two servants invested theirs and made
gains for their master.
OneGoodAct.com is my way of utilizing my knowledge to give back a small (but hopefully powerful) testimony to the great power of everyday blessings.
My hope for this project is to touch one life in a positive way and to demonstrate the healing power of even the smallest gesture in God's name.
